Here is a tip to players looking for some respect from higher ranked players. Don't call them lucky. Everyone get's lucky. It's part of the game.
But here is something you need to understand. Players with a lot of wins and games under their belt learn a hell of a lot of nuances. We also adapt to the updates and changes to the physics as they occur too. It's not uncommon for players with high win percentages to plan out a move two three and even four bounces ahead. We don't operate on luck. What you may call luck, is in many to most cases something we plan to happen, you are just too damn surprised to believe it took place. So as our ball inches towards the hole but stops... we most likely know how far we could bounce off a wall and our ball would travel AND we considered that outcome two ways. If it hit your ball or if it missed your ball.
We use all the time on the bar NOT to piss you off but to compute all the "if then's" that may occur. Luck comes into play when YOU don't do what we expect, it changes the trajectory of balls and now something unforeseen takes place and YOU drop one of our balls. And guess what. We don't call you lucky. We accept that lucky bounces take place. Luck happens to everyone and we accept the outcome.
Great players here don't get into arguments over luck that's for damn sure. You know what we get irked about, when we want a rematch and some dumb azz that did make those oddball moves pulls a win out of their butt and knows enough not to give us a rematch. LOL You'd think if you are smart enough to get the hell out of dodge after a 'lucky' win that you'd know enough not to call us lucky in the first place. LMAO
